Salty Notion is for those who feel the ocean in their soul. It's for the ones who connect with the sea on a deeper, more spiritual level. Our designs aren't just cool; they've got a meaning, a purpose. We aim to spread the love we have for the sea and its magic, while passing positivity, gratitude, and smiles all over, using organic and recycled materials.

We're committed to reducing waste and being kinder to the planet that's why we only make our Tees when you order them. Also that way it makes things more special, for you and for us. Our threads are all about that high-quality, organic cotton goodness. Good for you, good for the planet.

Behind the Brand

Hi there, I'm Jonathan, the founder of Salty Notion, my life took a sharp turn when I joined the army. during my service I suffered a physical injury. All doctors told me I will have to learn to live with the disabilties that came with my injury, but I refused to accept it.

Once my army service ended, I turned back to the sea where I rediscovered the profound impact it has on our lives. From the aggressive mindset of an infantry soldier, I found a different world - one of kindness, humility, gratitude and positivity.

The ocean and ocean sports proved to be incredibly therapeutic for me, improving my physical and mental well-being. Surfing, paddleboarding, and diving strengthened my mind, my muscles and improved my mobility. The ocean's calming effect reduced my stress and anxiety, providing me with a new perspective and grounding me in a sense of serenity.

So I decided to embark on a journey to discover more about the cultures and importance of the ocean around the world. From the Philippines to Greece, I saw how the ocean brought peace healing and serenity to those who take a part in it.

Inspired by my journey and love for the ocean, I founded Salty Notion. Our brand brings together surfers, divers, sunset chasers, and everyone who shares a real, and deep love for the ocean.
